Skills for Independence

The journey towards ongoing independence is different for everyone. Promoting independence requires patience and empowering the individual with daily decision making.

Our activities focus on building your capacity to manage day‐to‐day life through the development of knowledge, skills and networks of support.

Our individual supports and programs can be provided in the home and in the community to support you and/or your loved one with the following:
1. Building resilience and confidence
2. Developing autonomy in daily self- care tasks
3. Develop good social skills to promote positive and respectful relationships
4. Support decision making and problem-solving skills
