We understand that domestic violence is damaging to the whole community and can have a very serious effect on the physical and mental health on those who are directly involved, as well as witnesses, such as children. We aim to meet the needs, identify the issues and advocate for victims of domestic violence.

Safety and privacy is crucial.

Our Domestic Violence Support Service encompasses a brokerage fund which provides emergency accommodation and assists clients in financial crisis. We offer counselling, emotional and court support as well as other services, which are aimed at reducing the impact of abuse.

We can provide language support through the Translation and Interpreting Service (TIS) for clients who cannot speak English.

Violence is not acceptable

This community education project provides knowledge and resources to men regarding gender inequality and drivers of family domestic violence (FDV). The project will also deliver education and empowerment sessions by bi-cultural facilitators focusing on the development of men’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
