CORE is organised into four service areas, each with its own service manager, and supporting corporate services of Operations Manager and People and Culture Manager. These managers report directly to the CEO. Managers work together and are responsible for managing the delivery and execution of high quality services which meet community needs and expectations.

CEO
Juana Reinoso
Juana Reinoso joined CORE Community Services in 1994 as a project worker and since then has held various roles in the organisation across a number of services.
Juana became the CEO of CORE in October 2014, after successfully holding the role of Service Manager for the Aged and Disability Care Service for 10 years – seeing great changes and strategic overhauls which financially benefitted the service and its clients.
Juana holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Science and Technology and has vast experience in working with disadvantaged, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in South West Sydney.
She has set up services to support elderly people, been involved in strategic planning, staff management, financial management and risk management.
Juana’s passion to advance the needs and empower the voices of the local community, is the reason she chose to work at CORE Community Services and continues to be a driving force within the organisation.

Strategic Performance and Analytics Manager
Joanne Robertson
Joanne Robertson joined CORE in May 2022 as the Strategic Performance and Analytics Manager. Joanne has a Bachelor of Health Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Business with more than 15 years working in the not for profit sector, Joanne is an executive leader working in direct partnerships with other senior executives and with the Board to ensure ongoing viability of organisations through a strategic focus and business acumen.

People & culture
Fiona Bryant
Fiona Bryant recently joined CORE Community Services in the position of People and Culture Manager. Fiona has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resources and Industrial Relations.
Fiona has predominantly worked in Human Resources within the Health Sector for 18 years holding senior management positions. Overall, Fiona has over 25 years experience working in human resources in large public and private organisations providing compliance with laws and regulations, HR planning, consultancy, advisory and support on a range of specific human resource functions, policies and systems.
She is passionate about ensuring that CORE Community Services has the best available employees to fulfill our organisational goals, a high performing workforce and support the organisations culture.

Operations
Matthew Harden
Matthew joined CORE Community Services as the Operations Manager, in September 2019. He has a Masters Degree in Commerce and brings with him over 11 years in the Community Services sector, the last 6 years in Senior Management with a large Not for Profit. Additionally, Matthew has served on a number of Boards, Management Committees and Advisory groups in small NFP’s and local Government.
Matthew has worked across a range of industries including retail banking, publishing and construction and has a passion for efficient, streamlined systems and processes that maximise the delivery of services to the people and communities we serve.

CHILDREN'S SERVICES
Debra Rose
Debra Rose is the Service manager for Children’s Services at CORE. A trained teacher, she holds a Diploma in Early Childhood and a Bachelor of Teaching.
She has worked extensively in the early and middle childhood industry for the past 35 years. Beginning as a teacher’s assistant in a community based multicultural Long day care program, her extensive knowledge and experience in early childhood is an asset to CORE Community Services.
Debra has gone on to manage a range of services for children and their families including services such as Community Based Mobile Preschool and both Council and privately owned Out of School Hours Care.
Debra is committed to supporting teachers and educators in the provision of quality education and care for all children, Debra stays relevant in her field by reviewing literature in Children’s Services.

AGED & DISABILITY CARE
Nhu Tran
Nhu Tran is CORE’s Aged and Disability Care Service Manager. Nhu holds a degree in Occupational Therapy from Sydney University partnered with extensive knowledge, a strong passion for aged and disability care.
Nhu’s progression to Service Manager was inevitable, with over 17 years experience working within the aged and disability sector of CORE Community Services. Nhu has a firm belief in providing the best service delivery and you can be assured she continues to build and better the service through her extensive expertise in Aged & Disability Services.
Nhu’s ongoing interest in leadership, management, quality systems and client-focused care encourages her to be fully committed to ongoing learning and self development.

MULTICULTURAL COMMUNITIES
Shama Pande
Shama Pande moved to Sydney from Nepal in 2009. She completed her Masters of Social Work from University of Sydney in 2011. She has been with CORE since 2011 in various roles and has been recently appointed Manager of Multicultural Communities since July 2017.
Prior to her role at CORE Community Services, she has worked with US agency for International Development (USAID, Nepal) for three years in the program ‘Office of Transitional Initiatives’ (OTI). Shama is very passionate about social justice and human rights issues and believes in providing best start and opportunities to newly arrived refugees, humanitarian entrants to rebuild their lives in Australia.

Youth Service
Melissa Wise
Melissa Wise joined Core Community Services in 2022 in the position of Youth Service Manager, supporting a number of teams including Youth Frontiers Mentor Program, SHS, AOD and Intensive and Early Intervention. Melissa has a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in psychology and criminology and has worked in the human services industry since 2000.
Melissa has worked for a number of companies in various roles including the Joint Investigation Team and other child protection related positions. After 15 years working for the government Melissa secured a position at an NGO, overseeing a number of youth based programs targeting earlier intervention.
Melissa is passionate about improving the safety, health and wellbeing of children and young people, whilst keeping them connected with their family, their culture and community. Melissa is also committed to developing knowledge and skills within the Youth Team to ensure children, young people, and their families receive the support required for sustainable change.
