Child, Youth & Family Services

CORE Community Services offers family support services to families living in the Fairfield and Liverpool Local Government Areas.

Also known as the “Child, Youth and Families Project” – the aim is to support those aged 0-24 years and their carers or families in overcoming conflicting situations and/or providing education and advice about family living situations.

Family support services offer two streams of support, one via in-home visits from a case worker where practical advice is provided around parenting practises, routines for children and young people, difficult behaviours management, healthy eating and sleeping and more.

The second is via group work programs and sessions which are a great way for parents and carers to connect with others facing similar situations and learn about parenting, anger management, self-esteem, protective behaviours and mental health.
