Thuy-Vi Le is CORE’s Youth Service Manager, she started her career in humanitarian work as an overseas volunteer in a Refugee Camp in South-East Asia for two years beginning 1993.

On her return to Australia she worked with street kids in Cabramatta before venturing into Youth Services, Community Development, Women’s Health, Counselling Refugee Survivors of Trauma and Torture, and then working in Jakarta, Indonesia in the prevention of Human Trafficking.

In 2012 Thuy-Vi returned to Australia to manage Humanitarian Settlement programs before taking up her current position at CORE Community Services in 2014. Thuy-Vi has qualifications in Anthropology, Education and post-graduate qualifications in Human Rights and International Work.

As the child of a refugee mother she has a strong focus on settlement, women and young people and is passionate about developing person centred practice standards in the delivery of services to vulnerable young people.

Belinda joined CORE in early 2015. She has over 10 years of human resources experience performed across Australia.

Belinda has extensive experience working in different sectors within challenging environments. Belinda has qualifications in business and human resources management and is currently working towards a Degree in Social Science.

Belinda is focused on running the human resource function across the organisation to ensure staff are supported in their roles. Belinda’s goal is to ensure that the human functions runs smoothly across the organisation so staff have the tools and support they require to fulfill their roles efficiently and achieve the objectives of the funding bodies. It is also equally important to us, that all employees achieve their career aspirations and enjoy their time whilst working at CORE.

Debra Rose is the Service manager for Children’s Services at CORE. A trained teacher, she holds a Diploma in Early Childhood and a Bachelor of Teaching.

She has worked extensively in the early and middle childhood industry for the past 35 years. Beginning as a teacher’s assistant in a community based multicultural Long day care program, her extensive knowledge and experience in early childhood is an asset to CORE Community Services.

Debra has gone on to manage a range of services for children and their families including services such as Community Based Mobile Preschool and both Council and privately owned Out of School Hours Care.

Debra is committed to supporting teachers and educators in the provision of quality education and care for all children, Debra stays relevant in her field by reviewing literature in Children’s Services.
