This website is owned by Core Community Services Limited (referred to in these Terms and Conditions as “CORE”, “we”, “our” or “us”).  Your use of this Site is governed by these Terms and Conditions.  By accessing and browsing this Site and using any services offered through this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which include our Privacy page and our Privacy and Confidentiality Policy. You should review these Terms and Conditions carefully and immediately cease using this Site if you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions. Information on this Site has been provided for personal, non-commercial use only, to provide information about CORE and its services and activities for Australian residents.  The content  provided on this Site is for information purposes only  and should in no way be interpreted as professional advice, instruction or opinion on your personal circumstances. This Site contains CORE logos and other trade marks owned by us and third parties.  You may not download, copy or use any logos or trade marks featured on the Site for any purpose without the permission of CORE or the logo or trade mark owner. CORE collects, stores, distributes and communicates ‘personal information’ (as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)), which is provided by you, or otherwise collected by us as a result of the access to the Site in accordance with our Privacy and Confidentiality Policy, including:

  • server address;
  • date and time of visit;
  • web pages accessed and documents downloaded; and
  • type of browser used.

  1. Payments

Online Donations

Our donations page located here (HYPERLINK) is hosted by a third party. All responsible steps are taken to protect your security.

Disputes

If you believe there has been an error with a donation or payment you have made please contact us on 02 9727 0477 or by email at info@corecs.org.au so we can resolve your query quickly.  All complaints, grievances and disputes regarding payments will be treated seriously, quickly and in a timely manner, considering procedural fairness and confidentiality. All parties are required to participate in dispute resolution processes in good faith.

Refunds

CORE will refund Gift Cards purchased for a client of our Aged and Disability Care Service where the client has passed away. Requests for such refunds from CORE need to be in writing to infoadc@corecs.org.au

  1. Courses

Course Enrollment and Attendance at Events

You can enroll in a course or activity through this Site. Information regarding the course or activity will be emailed to you following enrollment.

All course or activity information is subject to change without notification, however every attempt will be made to give reasonable notice. CORE will use reasonable endeavors to advise you of any changes to the course, including cancellation and change of venue.

Course Cancellations / Refunds

Unless otherwise noted, CORE courses and activities are subsidized. For this reason, refunds will generally not be given to participants who cancel their registration or who do not attend a course or activity.  If for any reason, CORE cancels a course, CORE will pay a full refund for any fees paid.

  1. Your responsibilities

When accessing this Site you must use this it only for the purposes for which it is provided, and you must not use this Site for any improper, injurious or unlawful purposes, or do anything to damage or disrupt this Site.

You are responsible for making your own assessment of the suitability of this Site and the information available from this Site, for achieving your own purposes, and for any actions you take based on information obtained through this Site, and all outcomes resulting from your use of that information.

You must comply with all relevant laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and orders or decisions and orders or decisions of all relevant regulatory bodies that apply to this Site and in relation to any of the information made available to you through this Site including but not limited to:

  • any act that would breach a person’s privacy or disclose private, confidential or secure information;
  • using this Site to defame CORE, CORE’s employees or other individuals;

  • posting or transmitting to this Site any non-authorised material including, but not limited to, material that is, in our opinion, likely to cause annoyance, or which is defamatory, in contempt, racist, abusive, obscene, threatening, pornographic, infringes a person’s intellectual property rights, is unlawful, is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading, constitutes spamming or ‘trolling’ or contains commercial sales messages, or otherwise or which is detrimental to or in violation of our systems or a third party’s systems or network security.

If the Site permits you to post any information, this does not mean that CORE authorises or endorses any information you may post to the Site.  CORE reserves the right to take down this information at our sole discretion and without notice.

CORE will use its best efforts to ensure that the Site is faultless, immediate, continuous and virus-free at all times and will also endeavour to ensure the Site is available at all times other than during periods of maintenance.  However, CORE does not warrant that the Site and/or your use of the Site will be faultless, immediate, continuous and virus-free, or that information provided by CORE through the Site will be complete, accurate or up-to-date.  Internet transmissions are never entirely secure or private and any information you provide through this Site may be read or intercepted by others.  CORE will not have any liability for the interception, ‘hacking’ or other unauthorised access of information through this Site.  CORE reserves the right to alter, suspend or terminate this Site temporarily or permanently at any time.
