For Immediate Release – 15 December 2025
CORE Community Services extends its deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who have lost their lives in the Bondi incident. Our thoughts are with those who have been injured and with all members of the community affected.
We acknowledge that members of the Australian Jewish community have been particularly impacted, and we stand in solidarity with them at this deeply distressing time. No community should feel targeted, unsafe or isolated as a result of violence.
CORE recognises the ongoing work of NSW Police and emergency services and encourages the community to follow official advice and rely on verified information as it becomes available.
Juana Reinoso, CEO of CORE Community Services, said: “At times like this, it is critical that we remain calm, support one another, and allow authorities to carry out their work. Acts of violence must never be allowed to divide us or undermine trust between communities.”
CORE calls for unity, compassion and restraint, and urges the community to avoid speculation or misinformation. By standing together across cultures, faiths and backgrounds, we can support healing and maintain social cohesion.
CORE Community Services stands with all those impacted and reaffirms its commitment to supporting safe, inclusive and resilient communities across South West Sydney.
